Hardcover (England. binding)- Solid, durable coating printing products, containing a number of imprints and is designed to connect the sheets of printing products together and protect the sheet block (pp diplomas course). Also cover an element of artistic design and thus means of characterization of the book.

Binder (from the Eng. binder)- The machine is used to connect the sheets of paper with plastic or metal elements after perforation.

Hardcover consists of bookbinding cover and stuck to it additional functional elements, such as flyleaf, gauze valves, Captan (cotton or silk ribbon with thickened edges, attachable to the spine of the book block to the most lasting bonds sheets book as well as its decorations). There are two positivetype Binding--solidandan. Binding is soft (flexible) and rigid, edged with piping.

Types of bindings:

Application bindings
Application of binding of a species is determined among other things, design of the book block.

Types of configuration of the text block:

• "Tab" - to block off parts of the tab, prikleynym flyleaf and trim the block (along with the fly-leaf), a strip of cloth or gauze, with sewing wire vrazem (used bindings № 1-3);
